The 2012 Salomon Extreme Freeride Championships at Taos will be held from March 1-3, 2012. This premiere big-mountain event is New Mexico's largest and most prestigious ski and snowboard competition. Again athletes from around the globe descended on Taos Ski Valley to test themselves against the resort's famed steeps and chased a $15,000 purse.

Formally Corporate Cup

The Ultimate Ski & Snowboard Challenge is a recreational race series for all abilities hosted by major ski resorts in New Mexico. The race series consists of four one-day events. Taos Ski Valley, Inc. will host Saturday, March 3, 2012. Registered participants will receive discounted lift tickets for the day of the event.
